Linux, an Alternative Operating System Choice for Student

The objective of the study is to understand the operating system and how the cost licensing of the operating system becoming major issues. Open source operating system can be the alternative to reduce the cost of software licensing for the student and also others. The advancement of the Linux nowadays and it started replacing the user computer with the open source software. License/Commercial operating system software need to purchase for each of the computer and for upgrading to newer version the user required to purchase new license. Software piracy has becoming the trend to avoid purchasing the license/commercial software and these have becoming a plaque to the community
