İç Hastalıkları Hemşireliğinde Yenilikçi Yaklaşımlar

Milenyum çağının en büyük öğretisi olan yenileşme olgusu sağlık bakım uygulamalarını da etkisi altına almıştır. Teknolojik gelişmelere bağlı olarak gelişen/değişen tanı ve tedavi yöntemleri, dünya nüfusunun hızla artarak sağlık bakım hizmeti alma gereksiniminin artması, kronik hastalıkların çoğalması ve hasta takibinin zorunlu hale gelmesi hemşirelik bakım sunumunun ve yönetiminin de değişmesini, yenilikçi metodlarla sunulmasını zorunlu hale getirmiştir. Sağlık bakım uygulamalarının temel yapıtaşını oluşturan hemşirelerin değişen dünya düzeninde “bende varım” diyebilmeleri inovasyon ruhunu hemşirelik teorisine ve pratiğine entegre etmeleri ile mümkündür. Sağlık alanındaki en büyük inovasyon olarak nitelendirilen “elektronik sağlık/dijital sağlık (e-sağlık)” hemşirelik bakımına da yansımış, bakımın sunulmasında ki yaklaşımları da değiştirmiştir. Yaşlı nüfusun ve kronik hastalıklara bağlı gelişen yatalak hasta sayısının artması, e-sağlığın bir alt boyutu olan tele-hemşireliğin bakımın sunulmasını destekleyen bir araç olarak kullanılmasını zorunlu hale getirmiştir. Tele hemşirelik ile beraber bakım sürekli hale gelmekte ve kalitesi artmaktadır; böylelikle hastaneye tekrar yatış sayısı ve sağlık bakım maliyeti azalmaktadır. Klinikte e-sağlık uygulamaları ile taçlanan inovatif hemşirelik yaklaşımlarının, hemşirelik lisans müfredatında yeterince yer edinemediği, henüz emekleme aşamasında olduğu görülmektedir. İnovasyon bilgi, beceri ve tutumlarının lisans müfredatına dahil edilmemesi, gelecekteki her lisans mezunu hemşirenin eğitilme fırsatının kaçırıldığı anlamına gelmektedir. Bu sorunu ortadan kaldırmak için hastalara yedi gün yirmi dört saat bakan hemşirelerin, sağlık hizmetlerinin sunumunda her gün saptadıkları sorunları sorun olarak belirleyebilme ve bu sorunların çözümüne yönelik yaratıcı fikirler oluşturma bilgisi, becerisi ve tutumları konusunda eğitime odaklanılmalıdır. Bu derlemede iç hastalıkları hemşireliği pratiğinde ve iç hastalıkları hemşireliği müfredatında/öğretiminde inovasyonun gerekliliğine ve önemine dikkat çekilmesi amaçlanmıştır.
