EVDE SAĞLIK HİZMETLERİNİN SOSYAL HİZMET BOYUTU
Tıptaki ilerlemelerle birlikte hastalıkların tanı ve tedavisindeki başarı oranı artmış, ortalama yaşam süresi uzamış ve bebek ölüm oranları azalarak demografik değişimler meydana gelmiştir. Toplumdaki nüfus artışına paralel olarak artan sayıdaki hasta, özürlü ve yaşlı bireyler, sağlık hizmetlerinin sunumunda daha etkin ve etkili yolların aranmasını gerektirmiş ve bu da sunulan sağlık hizmetlerinde çeşitli uygulamalara gidilmesine neden olmuştur. Bu sağlık hizmetlerinden biri de evde sağlık hizmetleridir. Evde sağlık hizmetleri sadece fiziksel/tıbbi boyuttaki hizmetler değil aynı zamanda psikolojik ve sosyal boyutu da içeren bir hizmettir. Dolayısıyla dünyada evde sağlık hizmetleri; hekim ve asistanlar, hemşireler, diyetisyenler, sosyal hizmet uzmanları, psikologlar, hasta bakıcıları, din görevlileri ve eczacılardan oluşan bir ekip çalışması anlayışıyla verilmektedir. Buradan hareketle bu çalışmada evde sağlık hizmetlerini sunan ekibin bir üyesi olan sosyal hizmet uzmanın bu alandaki rol ve işlevleri ele alınacaktır

SOCIAL WORK DIMENSION OF HOME HEALTH SERVICES
Along with the advances in medicine, the success rate in diagnosis and treatment of diseases mortality rates decreased with population elderly individuals in the community, health care delivery necessitated a search more efficient and effective ways, and healthcare delivered has led to a variety of applications One of these health services is home health services. Home health services includes not only the physical / medical services, but also psychological and social services. Home health services are presented by understanding of team work which is consist of physicians and assistants, nurses, nutritionists, social workers, psychologists, religious officials and chemists around the world. Starting from this point as a member of home health service team that is social worker and his/her roles and functions in this area will be handle in this study.
