Nazal kaviteyi tutan natural killer T hücreli lenfoma: Olgu sunumu

CD56 pozitif doğal öldürücü natural killer T hücreli lenfoma, nazal kavite ve nazofarenkste tahrip edici orta hat lezyonları ile ortaya çıkan klinik bir durum- dur. Yaygın doku nekrozu nedeniyle histolojik tanısı güçtür. Genellikle multipl biyopsilerle tanıya varıl- maktadır. Otuz üç yaflında erkek hasta, burun tıka- nıklığı, kanlı, kötü kokulu akıntı, burundan konuflma yakınmaları ile baflvurdu. Nazal septum ve kavite posterioruna yerleflmifl lezyondan alınan biyopsiler ve immünhistokimyasal çalıflmalar sonucunda, CD56 pozitif doğal öldürücü T hücreli lenfoma tanısı kondu. Hastaya sekiz kürlük kombinasyon kemoter- apisi uygulandı; aradan geçen 1.5 yıl içinde hastalık halen remisyondadır

A case of natural killer T-cell lymphoma in the nasal cavity

CD56 positive natural killer T celi lymphoma is char- acterized by destructive lesions in the nasal cavity and nasopharynx. Severe tissue necrosis makes histopathologic diagnosis difficult, generally necessi- tating multiple biopsies. A thirty-three-year-old male patient presented with complaints of nasal obstruction, hemorrhagic discharge of fetid odor, and rhino- lalia. Immunohistochemical studies on biopsy speci- mens obtained from the lesion in the nasal septum and posterior nasal cavity revealed CD56 positive natural killer T celi lymphoma. The patient was treated with eight courses of combination chemotherapy, since then he has been in remission for more than 1.5 years.
