Dünyada ve ülkemizde hastane enfeksiyonlarını önlemek için büyük mücadele verilmektedir. Geçmişten bugüne hastane enfeksiyonlarından her yıl hayatını kaybedeninsan sayısı oldukça fazladır. Türkiye’de yılda ortalama 20.000 kişi hastane enfeksiyonlarından hayatını kaybetmektedir. ABD’de ise bu sayı 100.000 civarındadır.Hayatını kaybeden insanların sayısı gözönüne alındığında ülkemizde ve dünyadatemiz oda iklimlendirme tesisatında kullanılan filtrelerin önemi artmaktadır. Enfeksiyonu önlemenin yolu standartlara uygun doğru bir projelendirme ve yapılan doğru projenin değiştirilmeden aynı şekilde uygulanmasıdır. Temiz odalarda yapılacakhijyenik iklimlendirme projesini ve uygulamasını mutlaka uluslararası standartlarıçok iyi bilen, bu konuda uzman kişiler yapmalıdır. Bu çalışmada hayati derecedeönemli olan filtreleme konusunda kullanılan uluslararası standartlar ve filtre çeşitleri konusunda bilgiler yer almaktadır. Hijyenik iklimlendirmede kullanılan filtrelerkonusunda geçmişte kullanılan bazı standartlar yetersiz kalmış bu standartlar yerini daha kapsamlı, daha doğru sonuçlar veren standartlara bırakmıştır.

There is a great struggle in the world and in our country to prevent hospital infections. The number of people who die from hospital infections is very high in the world. In Turkey, 20,000 people per year die from hospital infections. In the USA, this number is around 100,000. Considering the number of people who lost their lives, the importance of filters used in clean room air conditioning installations in our country and the world increases. The right way to prevent infection is to design the right project in accordance with the standards and to apply the same without changing the project. The hygienic air conditioning project to be carried out in the clean rooms must be made by the experts who know the international standards very well. In this study, information about international standards and filter types which are vital for filtration is given. Some of the standards used in the past in terms of filters used in hygienic air conditioners have been inadequate and have been replaced by standards that provide more comprehensive and more accurate results.
