Filtrasyon tekstilleri: Kullanılan hammaddeler, üretim yöntemleri ve kullanım alanları

Filtrasyon genel olarak, hava veya sıvı içerisindeki belirli boyutlardaki partiküllerin ayrılarak akışkanın safsızlığının artırılması işlemidir. Filtrasyon tekstilleri, başlıca endüstriyel, medikal ve jeotekstiller gibi teknik tekstil alt gruplarında değerlendirilebilen oldukça geniş uygulama alanına sahip bir ürün grubudur. Bu çalışmada, tekstil üretim yöntemleri ile elde edilen filtre yapılar için kullanılan hammaddeler, üretim teknikleri ve uygulanan bitim işlemleri ile filtre ürünlerin son kullanım alanları hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir.Ayrıca hammadde, üretim parametrelerindeki değişiklikler ve farklı bitim işlemleri ile farklı boyutlardaki partiküller için filtrasyon performansının artırılması konusundaki çalışmaların bir kısmı da incelenerek bu konudaki bilimsel çalışmaların ilerleme yönü hakkında araştırmacılara ve üreticilere ışık tutulması hedeflenmiştir.

Filtration textiles: Materials, production processes and application areas

Filtration is the process of increasing fluid purification by separating particles having certain dimensions within air or liquid. Filtration textiles include a wide range of products which can be grouped under industrial, medical and geotextiles subgroups of technical textiles. In this study, materials, production and finishing processes and application areas of different textile filter structures are introduced. Moreover, some preceding studies conducted to increase filtration performance of the structures such as modifications carried out on material, production process parameters and finishing applications were summarized. It was aimed to light the way for scientists and filter producers about the progress of filtration technology.
