Yenilikçi tekstil ürün ve üretim teknolojilerine olan ilgi ve talep hýzlý bir artýþ göstermektedir. Araþtýrmalarýn yoðun bir þekilde devam ettiði yeniliklerden birisi de ýsý depolama ve ýsý düzenleme özellikli akýllý tekstil ürünlerinin geliþtirilmesidir. Bu tekstil ürünleri faz deðiþtiren maddelerin tekstil lif veya kumaþlarýna aplike edilmesi ile üretilmektedir. Faz deðiþtiren maddeleri içeren tekstiller, giysilerde ýsýl konforu geliþtirmek ve ýsý düzenleme, ýsýtma ve serinletme özellikli ürünler üretmek için kullanýlmaktadýrlar. Bu çalýþmada, tekstiller için kullanýlan faz deðiþtiren maddeler (FDM) ve faz deðiþtiren madde içeren mikrokapsüller (MikroFDM) tanýtýlmýþtýr. Ayrýca FDM'nin tekstil ürünlerine aplikasyon yöntemleri de açýklanmýþtýr.

The interest and demand for innovative textile products and manufacturing technologies show a rapid increase. One of the innovations on which researches continue intensively is to develop smart textile products with heat storage and thermo-regulating properties. These textile products are manufactured by applying phase change materials to textile fibers or fabrics. Textiles containing phase change materials are used to develop thermal comfort of clothing and to manufacture the products with thermo-regulating, heating and cooling properties. In this study, phase change materials (PCMs) used for textiles and microcapsules containing PCMs (micro PCMs) are introduced. Application methods of PCMs to textiles are also explained.
