Modal liflerinin üretimi, özellikleri, terbiye işlemleri ve kullanım alanları

Manufacturing, properties, finishing treatments and the end-use of modal fibers

Modal satisfies all human-ecological requirements according to Öko Tex Standard 100 and is produced exclusively of chlorine-free unbleached pulp. Modal does not contain any noxious substances, is free from any pesticides and does not cause any skin irritations. This advantage is particularly important in textiles that are in direct contact with the skin. Modal and modal blend fabric is soft and supple even after repeated washing. It stays wonderfully soft every time. Modal's molecular structure enhances the water absorption properties of cellulosic structure. Modal can absorb up to 50 % more humidity than cotton. And it does so much faster. This keeps the skin dry. It can breathe. This is why Modal is the ideal partner for clothing that is worn close to the skin like a robe and also skin-friendly home textiles like terry towels.
