Başkurdistan Cumhuriyeti’nde dil siyaseti, hem BC’nin devlet dillerini hem BC’de yaşayan başka halkların dillerini kullanmayı hukuksal düzenlemeler ile yönlendiren kanunlar ve başka hukuksal belgeler esasında gerçekleştirilmektedir. Düzgüsel kararnameler, vatandaşların değişik durumlarda dil seçme imkanı olduğunu ifade etmektedirler. Dilleri koruma ve geliştirme devlet programı, bu alanda mevcut olan önemli sorunları belli etmeyi ve amaca uygun bir şekilde halletmeyi mümkün kılmaktadır.

In the Republic of Bashkortostan language policy is realized on the base of laws and other law documents, directed on law regulation in use both of as state languages of the Republic, as the languages of other nations residing in the Republic. Normative acts are the proof of that citizens have opportunities to choose the language for contact in different surroundings.
