Dünya ve Türk Tarihi için en önemli birincil kaynaklardan birisi konumundaki antik sikkelerin önemi tartışılmaz boyuttadır. Eskiçağ'da kendisine müstesna bir yer edinmiş bulunan Turanî kavimlerden olan İskitler'in sikkeleri de Türk Eskiçağı için çok büyük bir öneme sahiptir. İskit sanat eserleri üzerinde görülen pantolonlu İskit savaşçı tipinin bire bir nümismatik eşleşmesi durumundaki çok nadir sikke tipleri bahsettiğim bu önemi daha da arttırmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın konusu İskit nümismatiği içinde sadece dört adet örnekle temsil edilen pantolonlu İskit kralı tasvirli bronz sikkelerden birisi ve kayaların üzerinde oturan İskit kralı tasvirli yegâne bronz sikke durumundaki Kerkinitis bronz şehir sikkesini yeniden teşhis edip değerlendirmektir. Bu yeni bakış ışığında şimdiye kadar yapılan teşhis ve isimlendirmelerin yanlışlığı ortaya konulup Türk Eskiçağı=İskit nümismatiği için çok büyük öneme sahip bulunan bu sikke tipi ayrıntılı olarak tanıtılmıştır.

Ancient coins have great significance which are on of the most prominent records for both World and Turkic History. Coins of Scythians that are one of the Turanic/Turkic people which made a distinctive place in ancient ages have great importance. Rare coin types which are the numismatic match of trousered Scythian warrior type that is seen on Scythian artwork increase the significance that I mentioned before. The theme of this work is to reevaluate one of the trousered Scythian king portrayed bronze coins that are only four samples in Scythian numismatic and Cercinitis bronze city coin that is the only bronze coin with Scythian king portrayed sitting on rocks. In the light of this new perspective the inaccuracy have been presented of the findings and designations which are introduced so far. The coin type that has great prominence for Turkic Ancient Age=Scythian numismatic has been introduced in detail.
