XVI. asır Osmanlı aydın ve tarihçilerinden biri olan Gelibolulu Mustafa ‘Âlî’nin tarihi eserlerinden biri de Heft Meclisi adlı eseridir. Bu eser Kanuni Sultan Süleyman’ın son seferi olan Zigetvar ve II. Selim’in cülûsu gibi konuları ihtiva etmektedir. Bu çalışmada yazarın bilinmeyen yönleri ve Heft Meclis’inin yazılım özellikleri aydınlatılmıştır.

Mustafa Âlî of Gallipolli is one of the Ottoman intellectual and historians of XVI. century, wrote many historian books, one of which is called as Heft Meclis. This book contains Sigetvar the last campaign of Kanuni Sultan Süleyman and accession of Selim II. In this study was illuminated the unknown aspects of author and method of writing of Heft Meclis.
