Britanyalıların gözüyle Sina-Filistin Cephesi'nde Türk askeri,

Birinci Dünya Savaşı sırasında Britanya ordusu ve Britanyalı askerler, Avrupa’daki savaş alanları haricinde, sayısı en fazla ve en yoğunluklu olan çarpışmaları Osmanlı ordusuna ve bu ordunun savaşan unsurlarına karşı yapmıştır. Bu makalede, Britanyalı asker, devlet adamı ve çağdaş askeri tarih yazarlarının gözünde, Birinci Dünya Savaşı ve özellikle de Sina-Filistin Cephesi’nde Britanya ordusuna karşı mücadele eden Türk askerlerinin muharip ve insani özelliklerinin neler olduğu ele alınmaktadır.

The Turkish soldier in Sinai-Palestine Front through British Eyes

British army and British soldiers, except for European theater of war, had fought against the Ottoman army and its combatants in numerous and intensive battles during the First World War. In this article, the views of British soldiers, statesmen and contemporary military historians relating to the characteristics of Turks as soldiers and human beings during the First World War, especially in Sinai-Palestine Front, will be focused on.
