Trauma is the leading cause of death in pediatric agegroup. Penetrating traumas are injuries that requirequick and effective intervention. Recently, minimallyinvasive surgical approaches for trauma have beenwidely used in the diagnosis and treatment. In thisstudy, we aimed to present our case in whom we determined and treated pericardial injury, gastric perforation and liver laceration by thoracoscopic andlaparoscopic surgery after thoracic and abdominalpenetrating trauma.
Çocuk yaş gurubunda travma önde gelen ölüm sebebidir. Penetran travmalar hızlı ve etkin müdahale gerektiren yaralanmalardır. Son yıllarda travmada minimal invaziv cerrahi yaklaşımlar tanı ve tedavide yaygın olarak kullanılmaya başlamıştır. Bu çalışmada torakal ve abdominal penetran travma sonucu torakoskopik ve laparoskopik cerrahi yöntemle perikard yaralanması, mide perforasyonu ve karaciğer laserasyonu tespit ederek tedavi ettiğimiz olgumuzu sunmayı amaçladık.
