Lupus vulgaris zemininde geli?en skuamöz hücreli karsinom olgusu

Lupus vulgaris, Mycobacterium tuberculosis basiliyle kar?yla?my? ve tüberkülin duyarlyly?y orta ve yüksekderecede olan bireylerde ortaya çykan, en syk görülen deri tüberkülozudur. Kronik lupus vulgaris lezyonuüzerinden en syk skuamöz hücreli karsinom olmak üzere çe?itli kanserler geli?ebilmekte, bu yüzden lupusvulgarisin erken tany ve tedavisi önem ta?ymaktadyr. Yetmi? bir ya?ynda erkek hasta sa? yanakta 50 yyldyrvar olan yarasynyn üzerinde geli?en ve iyile?meyen kabaryklyk ?ikayetiyle poliklini?imize ba?vurdu. Alynanderi biyopsi örne?ine lupus vulgaris zemininde geli?en skuamöz hücreli karsinoma tanysy kondu. Nadirgörülmesi ve lupus vulgaris zemininde kanser geli?imine kar?y yakyn takibin öneminin vurgulamak istenmesiamacy ile olgu bildirilmektedir

Occurrence of Squamous Cell Carcinoma on the Lupus Vulgaris

Lupus vulgaris the most common skin tuberculosis that can be seen in patients with high and mediumsensitivities to Mycobacterium tuberculosis and tuberculin. Various cancers can develop on the chronic lupusvulgaris lesions, but the squamous cell cancer is the most common type. Therefore early diagnosis andtreatment of lupus vulgaris is very crucial. Herein, we present a 71 year-old male patient presenting with awound on his right cheek for almost 50 years. Biopsy specimens taken from the lesion were consistent withsquamous cell carcinoma developing over the lupus vulgaris lesion. We emphasize that patients with lupusvulgaris lesions should followed up closely due to increased risk of occurrence of cancer.
