ANADOLU COĞRAFYASINDA YAŞAYAN BİREYLERİN FEMUR ANTEVERSİYON VE İNKLİNASYON AÇISININ DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

AmaçTıp Fakültesi Anatomi Ana Bilim Dalı laboratuvar envanterinde bulunan Anadolu coğrafyasında yaşamışbireylerin femur anteversiyon ve inklinasyon açılarınınözelliklerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır.Gereç ve YöntemAnatomi laboratuvarında bulunan 27’si erkek 18’i kadın toplam 45 femur üzerinde çalışıldı.

EVALUATION OF THE FEMORAL ANTEVERSION AND INCLINATION ANGLE OF PEOPLE WHO LIVING IN ANATOLIAN GEOGRAPHY

Objective It was aimed to determine the characteristics of femoral anteversion and inclination angles of individuals who lived Anatolian geography in the inventory of the medical faculty anatomy main science laboratory. Materials and Methods 45 femurs (27 male – 18 female) were selected from the anatomy laboratory. Femurs were grouped according to gender and sides. Photographs of each femur were taken and digitized. Femoral anteversion angle (FAA) and femoral inclination angle (FIA) measurements were taken using the Image-J program. With the SPSS 20, statistical data between genders and sides were determined and compared. Results It has been shown in many studies that both FAA and FIA dimensions have lower values than the right side of the left side and the female gender less than the male gender. However, according to our findings in our study, the p value was above 0.05 in comparing the measurements of FAA and FIA measures between both genders and the parties. Therefore, there was no significantly difference in the statistical data obtained. Conclusion Angular values of the femur may be related to many lower extremity pathologies. For this reason, femoral angle values for each society should be investigated and values belonging to that society should be revealed. Especially in a society that is located in the transition zone between Asia and Europe like our society, it is important to reveal the femoral angular values
