Su sıcaklığı ve balık boyunun ısparoz' un (Diplodus annularis L., 1758) yüzme performansı üzerine etkileri

Bu çalışmada, Ege Denizi dip trol ağı kompozisyonunda-Sıklıkla rastlanan ve ticari öneme sahip olan Diplodus annularis L.1758 (ısparoz) türünün Kritik Yüzme Hızı (KYH) değeri boy ve su sıcaklığı etkisini incelemek amacıyla ölçülmüştür. Yapılan denemelerde artan su sıcaklığının ve balık boyunun mutlak KYH'nı (m/sn) artırdığı tespit edilmiştir. Ortalama mutlak KYH 13,17 ve 25 °C'lerde sırasıyla 0,59, 0,68 ve 0,85 m/sn olarak ölçülmüştür. Sonuçlar trol operasyonu sırasındaki balık davranışı bilgilerimizi geliştirmek amacıyla tartışılmıştır.

Effect of water temperature and fish length on swimming performance of annular sea bream (Diplodus annularis L., 1758)

In this study, critical swimming speed (CSS) for Diplodus annularis L, 1758 (annular sea bream) which is common catch components of the Aegean Sea demersal trawl and have commercial importance, was measured to investigate the effect of water temperature and fish length, it was found that increasing water temperature and fish length increased the absulute CSS (m/s). Mean absolute CSS values measured at 13, 17, and 25 °C of water temperatures were 0,59, 0,68 and 0,85 m/s, respectively. Results were discussed in a way to improve our understanding offish behaviour in relation to trawl operation.
