İzmir Körfezi’ndeki teleost balık postlarvalarının bolluk ve dağılımı

Bu çalışmada; 2000-2004 yılları arasında İzmir Körfezi’nde yaşayan bazı teleost balık türlerine ait larvaların bolluk ve dağılımları araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla İzmir Körfezi’nde 8 istasyon belirlenmiş ve bu 8 istasyona ait olan plankton materyali değerlendirilmiştir. Larva örnekleri; horizontal çekimler ile, 200 μm göz genişliğinde HENSEN tipi plankton kepçesi kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Bu çalışma sonucunda toplam 22 tür tespit edilmiş ve İzmir Körfezi’nde özellikle E. encrasicolus türünün dominant olduğu saptanmıştır.

The abundance and distribution of teleost fish larvae in İzmir Bay

This study were about distribution and abundance of some teleost fish species larvae in İzmir Bay, carried out between 2000-2004. For this aim, 8 stations were selected from various region of İzmir Bay and planktonic materials belonging to these stations were investigated. The larvae samples were horizontally with the aid HENSEN plankton net having 200 μm mesh size. Results of this research, a total of 22 species were recorded and especially E. encrasicolus was dominant in the bay.
