Çipura yavrularında (Sparus aurata L.,1758) görülen Trichodina spp. enfeksiyonlarına formaldehit banyoların etkisi

Bu araştırma Ege Bölgesinde üretim yapan bir kuluçkahanede çipura (Sparus aurata L) yavrularında görülen mortaüte nedeninin ortaya konması amacıyla yapılmıştır. Ölmek üzere olan balıklar parazitolojik, bakteriyolojik hastalıklar yönünden incelendi. Mortalitenin Trichodiniasisten kaynaklandığı tespit edildi.. Enfestasyonun tedavisinde formaldehitin etkinliğinin ortaya konulması amacıyla farklı doz ve-sürelerde banyolar uygulandı. 100 ppm konsantrasyonda 30 dakika banyo uygulamalarının etkili olduğu tespit edildi. Uygulama sonrasında işletmede mortalitenin durduğu görüldü.

The effect of formaldehyde baths on Trichodiniasis of juvenile sea bream (Sparus aurata L.,1758)

This research was carried out in order to determine the reason of mortality in sea bream (S. aurata L) fry. The moribund fish was investigated in parasitological and bacteriological point of view. Trichodina spp. was found responsible from high mortality. Fishies were exposed to • different dose and periods of formaldehyde baths to show effectivity of formaldehyde. Fishies were successfully treated with formaldehyde bath (100 ppm, 30 minutes). After formaldehyde applications the mortality stopped.
