Alkolün Konuşma ve Dil Fonksiyonları Üzerine Etkileri; Deneysel Bir Çalışma

Alkol keyif verici olarak yaygın olarak kullanılan, aynızamanda toksik ve bağımlılık yapıcı etkileri olan birmaddedir. Adli Tıp alanında özellikle etil alkol önemtaşımakta olup, alkolün bireyler üzerindeki etkilerihususunda bilirkişi olarak Adli Tıp Uzmanlarından vepratisyen hekimlerden görüş istenmektedir. Alkolünnörolojik fonksiyonlar üzerine etkilerini saptamak içinbirçok test mevcut olmakla birlikte pratikteuygulanabilir, geçerlilik ve güvenilirliği yüksek yenitestlerin geliştirilmesi gerekmektedir. 17 sağlıklıgönüllü kişi ile yapılan bu çalışmada alkol almadanönce ve 0,5 mg/kg alkol alımı sonrası kişilerinkonuşma paternlerindeki değişimlerin incelenmesiamaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada katılımcıların okumasürelerinde uzama, kelimelerin farklı telaffuz edilmesigibi bulgular saptanmıştır. Adli Tıp uygulamalarında,Hacettepe Artikülasyon Testi ve Gazi ÜniversitesiTürkçe Öğrenim Araştırma ve Uygulama Merkezitarafından hazırlanıp yayınlanmış A2 TemelDüzeyinde Yabancılar için Türkçe adlı kitapta yeralan 12 cümleden oluşan cümle testinin alkollübireylerdeki konuşma fonksiyonlarınındeğerlendirilerek nörolojik etkilenme düzeyinisaptamada adli muayene ile birlikte kullanıldığındadeğerli bir yöntem olduğu düşünülmektedir.

The Effects of Alcohol on Speech and Language Functions; An Experimental Study

Alcohol is a widely used substance as an exhilaratorand at the same time a toxic substance that hasaddictive effects. Particularly ethyl alcohol is ofprimary importance in the field of forensic medicineand the forensic specialists and the generalpractitioners are requested to provide expert opinionregarding the effects of alcohol use on individuals.While several tests to identify the effects of alcoholon neurological functions are available, the newtests having higher validity and reliability, which canbe put in into practice should be developed as well.It was aimed in this study conducted with theparticipation of 17 healthy volunteers to investigatethe changes in speech patterns of individuals afterconsuming 0,5mg/kg alcohol compared to thosebefore alcohol intake. The findings such asprolongation of reading time and differentpronunciation of the words were obtained.Hacettepe Articulation Test and the sentence testconsisting of 12 sentences from the book entitled"A2 Basic Level Turkish for Foreigners" prepared andpublished by Gazi University Turkish EducationResearch and Application Center are consideredvaluable methods for forensic medicine practices toidentify the level of neurological affection byevaluating speech functions of the individuals whoconsumed alcohol, when used along with forensic examination.
