Evaluation of Physical Activity Level of Kick Box Trainers

The aim of this study is to evaluate the physical activity level of kick box trainers. 13 female kick box trainers, whose average age is 30,85±8,25 years, height is 1,69-0,517m, weight is 63,42-9,887kg and average training age is 5,62-4,519 years, and 79 male kick box trainers ,whose average age is 34,85±7,41, height is 1,73-1,955 m, weight is 76,96-10,039 kg and average training age is 9,87±5,603 years, participated to the study volunteerly. In this study, Physical Activity Evaluation Questionnaire was used to determine the physical activity level of kick box trainers. To analyze the data which has been acquired at the end of the study, test t in independent groups in SPSS 10,0 packet program, One-way ANOVA, Mann-Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis H, Tukey and Tamhane tests were used. The expressive diversity between sleep indexes, ladder indexes and sports indexes with regard to trainer’s sex, training level, education level ,job, is not found (p>0,05). There isn’t also any expressive difference between transportation indexes with regard to trainer’s sex, training level and jobs (p>0,05). An expressive difference between home index in their sex, training levels and work index in their jobs has been found (p<0,05).Transportation index with regard to trainer’s education level includes an expressive difference in the kcal/week value (p<0,05),but does not include an expressive difference in met/week value (p>0,05). As a conclusion, it has been thought that trainer’s jobs, work indexes, home indexes, transportation and physical activity levels affect each other. It has been seen that time, spent in work-place and home, doesn’t differ in point of sex, however women spend less time at work-place. It is thought that trainer’s having jobs according to their education level has effect on transportation index.
