Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Öğretmeni İletişim Becerileri Ölçeği Geçerlik ve Güvenirlik Çalışması

Bu araştırmanın amacı beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenlerinin iletişim becerilerini ölçebilecek geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı geliştirmektir. 2021-2022 eğitim-öğretim yılında Malatya ilindeki liselerde öğrenim gören öğrenciler araştırmanın evrenini oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada, Açımlayıcı Faktör Analizi örneklemi için 432 lise öğrencisi, Doğrulayıcı Faktör Analizi örneklemi için 652 lise öğrencisi, test-tekrar test analizi için 62 lise öğrencisi örneklem gruplarını oluşmuştur. Hazırlanan ölçek maddelerinin son hâli 22 uzman görüşü neticesinde oluşturulmuştur. Geçerlik ve güvenirlik analizleri neticesinde ‘etkili iletişim’, ‘iletişimde engelleyiciler’, ‘sınıf içi etkileşim’ olarak adlandırılan üç faktörden ve 18 maddeden oluşan bir ölçek geliştirilmiştir. Ölçeğin bütünü için Cronbach’s Alfa iç tutarlılık güvenirlik katsayısı 0,84’tür. Alt boyutlar için Cronbach’s Alfa iç tutarlılık katsayısı birinci alt boyut “etkili iletişim” için 0,86, ikinci alt boyut ‘iletişimde engelleyiciler’ için 0,91, üçüncü alt boyut ‘sınıf içi etkileşim’ için 0,90 olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Yapılan geçerlik ve güvenirlik analizleri sonrasında beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmeni iletişim becerileri ölçeğinin geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olduğunu söyleyebiliriz. Geliştirilen bu ölçek beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenlerinin iletişim becerilerini ölçebilecek ve öğretmenlerin iletişim becerileri ile ilgili yapılacak çalışmalara katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.

Physical Education and Sports Teacher Communication Skills Scale Validity and Reliability Study

The aim of this study is to develop a valid and reliable measurement tool that can determine the communication skills of physical education and sports teachers. The population of the study consisted of students studying at high schools in Malatya in the 2021-2022 academic year. The sample of the study consisted of 432 high school students for Exploratory Factor Analysis, 652 for Confirmatory Factor Analysis, and 62 high school students for test-retest analysis. The final version of the prepared scale items was created as a result of the opinions of 22 experts. As a result of the validity and reliability analyzes, a scale consisting of three factors and 18 items was developed as 'effective communication', 'communication barriers' and 'intraclass interaction'. Cronbach's Alpha reliability coefficient for the whole scale was calculated as 0.84.The Cronbach's Alpha reliability coefficient for the sub-dimensions was 0.86 for the first sub-dimension, "effective communication", 0.91 for the second sub-dimension, "communication barriers", and 0.90 for the third sub-dimension, "in-class interaction". Therefore, it can be said that the developed physical education and sports teacher communication skills scale is a valid and reliable measurement tool. As a conclusion, it is thought that this scale, which can be used to determine the communication skills of physical education and sports teachers, will contribute to the field.
