Bu çalışmada, ilköğretim okullarındaki Sosyal Bilgiler dersi programından farklı olarak geliştirilen ve önerilen Sosyal Bilgiler dersi programına uygun olarak hazırlanan programlar işe koşulmuştur. Bu amaçla ilköğretim 5.sınıf Sosyal Bilgiler dersinin “Osmanlı Devletinin Kuruluşu” ünitesi öğretim programı günlük planlar halinde Tam Öğrenme Modeline uygun olarak hazırlanmıştır. Mevcut programlardan farkı bir yapıda hazırlanan günlük planların etkisi araştırma için seçilen okulda deneysel olarak araştırılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; öğrencilerin bilgi, kavrama, ve toplam erişi düzeylerinde anlamlı bir fark gözlenirken, uygulama düzeyi erişlerinde anlamlı bir fark gözlenememiştir.

In this research, a new syllabus which is different from the exicting one’s was prepared for the social science course at class five in primary schools. A unit plan and daily plans were prepared for the subject “The Foundation of Ottoman State’’ based on Mastery Learning Model. The effects of the daily plans and teaching process which are different from the exicting one’s were studied. As a result of the experiment , there is a significant difference at the level of knowledge comprehension and total achievement, however there is no significant difference at the application level.
