Barter, ekonomik kriz dönemlerinde mal ve hizmetlerin takas yolu ile satıldığı ve satın alındığı bir pazarda paranın maliyetini en az düzeye indirmek için geliştirilmiş alternatif finansman tekniklerinden biridir. Barter sistemi, işletmelerde pazarlama, satınalma ve finansman fonksiyonlarını bir arada yürüten barter organizasyonları sayesinde gelişerek yaygınlaşmaktadır. Çalışmamızda barter tekniğinin tanıtılması, işleyişi ve muhasebeleştirilmesi üzerinde durulmuştur.

Barter is one of the alternative financing technics which is developed in a market that, during economic crises, products and services are sold and bought by exchanging in order the decrase the cost of money. Barter system becomes widespread by the barter organizations that perform financing, marketing and purchasing functions together in the businesses.
