Avrupa Birliği Ülkelerinde Borç Krizi ve Türkiye

2007’nin ikinci yarısında Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’nde başlayan finansal kriz 2009’dan itibaren en ağır etkisini Avrupa Birliği ülkelerinde göstermiştir. Krizin en önemli etkilerinden birisi borç yüklerindeki artıştır. Avrupa Birliği ülkelerinde ilk olarak Yunanistan’da etkisini göstermeye başlayan kriz, sonrasında çevre ülkeleri de etkisi altına alarak geniş bir bölgeye yayılmıştır. Halen 2017 Avrupa Birliği ülkelerinde borç krizinin etkileri devam edilmektedir.Çalışmanın temel amacı borç krizinin Avrupa Birliği ülkelerinde meydana getirdiği etkileri ve krize karşı alınan tedbirleri değerlendirmektir. Bu kapsamda, Avrupa Birliği ülkelerinde borç krizinin ortaya çıkmasında etkili olan faktörler üzerinde durulmuştur. Borç krizinin sebepleri ve Avrupa Birliği ekonomileri üzerindeki etkileri çalışmanın temelini oluşturmaktadır.

Debt Crisis in European Union Countries and Turkey

The financial crisis that started in the United States in the second half of 2007 has shown the most severe effects in the European Union countries since 2009. One of the most important effects of the crisis is the increase in the debt burden. Firstly began in Greece, it spread to other European member countries. Currently 2017 , the effects of the debt crisis are still felt in the European Union countries. The main aim of the study is to evaluate both the effects of the debt crisis on the European Union and the measures taken against the crisis. In this context, the factors on the emergence of the debt crisis in the European Union countries are evaluated. The reasons of the debt crisis and the effects on the European Union economies are the basis of this study. Turkey with intense economic relations with the European Union has been influenced by the foreign trade deficit and the budget deficit at the start of the crisis. Foreign exchange fluctuations and GDP declines have increased the debt ratio. From the following year on, the change in the budget deficit and public debt later was set at a level in accordance again with the Maastricht criteria.
