DİJİTAL YÖNTEM ve ARAÇLAR TÜRKİYE SİNEMA TARİHİ ÇALIŞMALARI AÇISINDAN NE VAAT EDİYOR?

Bu makalede, Dijital Beşerî Bilimler olarak bilinen araç, yöntem ve yaklaşımlarbütününün, Türkiye sinema tarihi çalışmaları açısından taşıdığı potansiyeli vurgulayacağım.Dijital Beşerî Bilimlere kısa bir giriş yaptıktan sonra, örnek projelerdenbahisle bugüne kadar neler yapıldığını ortaya koyacağım. Daha sonra,Yeşilçam endüstrisinin ürünü olan ve bugün çevrimiçi video paylaşım platformlarındanerişilebilen film yığınından, yeni araştırma soruları sormak için nasılyararlanılabileceğini, bu çerçevede dijital araç ve yöntemlerin ne tür olanaklarsunduğunu göstermeye çalışacağım.

What Do The Digital Methods and Tools Promise for The Studies on The History of Turkish Cinema?

In this article, I’ll stress the potential that the set of tools, methods, and approaches known as Digital Humanities have for the study of the history of Turkish cinema. After a brief introduction to Digital Humanities, I’ll cite some projects to demonstrate what has been achieved so far. Following that, I’ll explain how researchers can benefit from the collection of online Yeşilçam films that are accessible in video-sharing platforms.
