İbret-nümâ, 16. yüzyıl mutasavvıf şairi Şemseddîn-i Sivâsî’nin hacimli eserlerindendir.Ferîdüddîn-i Attâr’ın İlâhî-nâme adlı eserinden seçilen 101 hikâyenin Türkçeye çevrilip sonlarına“ibret” başlığı altında nasihatlerin eklenmesiyle oluşturulmuş, ahlakî bir mesnevidir.Makalemizde; eserin türü, yazılış sebebi, yazıldığı yer ve tarih, tertibi, hikâyelere dair değerlendirme,vezin, kafiye, dil ve üslûp özellikleri üzerinde durulmaktadır.

Ibret-numa is one of the Semseddin Sivasi’s, who is a 16th century sufi and poet, volumed masnawis. This moral masnavi has been formed by collecting 101 selected stories from Feriduddin-i Attar’s Ilahi-name with the addition of advises under the name “ibret”. In this article the author focused on category of the masnawi, its rhythm, rhyme, composition, and the reason, the time and the place it’s been written and the evaluations of the stories.
