Travmatik Dental Yaralanmaların Acil Tedavisi Hakkında Bilgi Kaynağı Olarak YouTube™:Kesitsel İçerik Analizi

Amaç: Travmatik diş yaralanmalarının acil tedavisi hakkındaYouTube™ videolarının içeriğinin ve kalitelerinindeğerlendirilmesidir. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Travmatik diş yaralanmaları ile ilişkiliYouTube™ videolarının tespiti için “avülsiyon, dentalyaralanmalar, diş yaralanması, diş travmaları, dişin yerindençıkması, travma” anahtar kelimeler olarak belirlendi. Aramasonucunda 175 adet YouTube™ videosu tespit edildi. Dahiledilme kriterlerine uygun olan 27 adet video değerlendirildi.Seçilen tüm videoların içerikleri, Uluslararası DentalTravmatoloji rehberleri incelenerek belirlenen parametreleregöre skorlandı ve düşük/yüksek içerikli videolar olarakgruplandırıldı. Videoların kalitesi, Video Bilgisi ve Kalite İndeksi(VIQI) ve Global Kalite Puanı (GQS) kullanılarak değerlendirildi.İstatistiksel analizler için Mann-Whitney U, Kruskal-Wallis testive Spearman korelasyon analizleri kullanılarak yapıldı. YouTube™ as an Information Source on EmergencyTreatment of Traumatic Dental Injuries: Cross-sectionalContent Analysis

Background: To evaluate the content and quality of YouTube™videos about the emergency treatment of traumatic dental injuries. Methods: “Avulsion, dental injuries, tooth injury, dental traumas,tooth displacement, trauma” were determined as keywords for thedetection of YouTube™ videos related to traumatic dental injuries.As a result of the search, 175 YouTube™ videos were detected.27 videos that met the inclusion criteria were evaluated. Thecontents of all selected videos were scored according to theparameters determined by examining the International DentalTraumatology guidelines and grouped as low/high contentvideos. The quality of the videos was evaluated using the VideoInformation and Quality Index (VIQI) and the Global Quality Score(GQS). Statistical analyzes were performed using Mann-WhitneyU test, Kruskal-Wallis test and Spearman correlation analysis.
