Evaluation of the Physical Education Teachers Behaviors in Terms of Hidden Program in the Light of Students’ Views

In this research, the aim of the study is to make the physical education teacher’s, who work at state schools in Malatya city center, in school and out school behaviors clear about the relationship with the students. The research was done in the light of students’ opinions, also examining the intentional and unintentional behaviors of the teachers. The research population covers 72.571 students and 153 primary schools in Malatya. The sample of the research covers 20 primary state schools and 500 students attending 7th grade. The sample group was chosen in accordance with ‘’simple casual sample technical.’’ The questionnaire was applied to obtain findings. In the questionnaire, some questions were directed to students related to their implicit learning in skills like “obeying the rules, being punctual, wearing proper uniforms, being democratic, being obedient, being neat, taking responsibility, being cooperate, paying attention to national and social values.’’ The analysis of the gathered data has been done by using the SPSS 17.00 statistic program. In the result of the research, it is found that the behaviors of physical education teachers of the hidden curriculum in school or out of the school affect the students behaviors such as ‘’obeying the rules, being punctual, wearing proper uniforms, being democratic, being neat, taking responsibility, being cooperate, paying attention to national and social values.’’
