GİNSENGİN ÖZELLİKLERİ ve SAĞLIK ÜZERİNE ETKİLERİ

Ginseng uzak doğu ülkelerinde tıpta kullanılan bir bitkidir. Tüm şifalı bitkiler arasında strese karşı en etkili direnç arttırıcı bitki olduğu düşünülmektedir. Dünya çapında en çok satılan doğal ürünler listesinde yerini almıştır. Bu yüzden tüketimi gittikçe artmaktadır. Günümüzde tabletleri de yapılan ginseng özlü gıda takviyeleri Kore ya da Asya Ginsengi, Sibirya Ginsengi ve Amerikan Ginsengi gibi pek çok tanınmış bitki türlerinin köklerinden yapılmaktadır. Ginseng'in, stres ve yaşlanmaya karşı direnci arttıran dolayısıyla yaşam kalitesini arttıran bir tonik veya adaptojenik madde olduğu gösterilmiştir. Ginseng'in genel olarak insanlardaki fiziksel ve zihinsel kapasiteyi arttırdığı, yorgunluğu azalttığı ve fiziksel dayanıklılığı arttırdığı bilinmektedir. Ginsengin içinde bulunan ginsenozidlerin, ginsengin oluşturduğu etkilerin çoğuna sebep olduğu düşünülmektedir.
