IMPACT OF EXPORT AND IMPORT ON ECONOMIC GROWTH IN KYRGYZSTAN

Analyzing the relationship between export, import and economic growth is considered to be as one of the actual issues. The main objective of this study is to examine the existence of a dynamic link between foreign trade and economic growth in Kyrgyzstan. The relationship between export, import and economic growth was explored by using Granger causality test. In addition, with the help of spatial econometrics, the relationship between economic growth and foreign trade was also confirmed.
