Çeşitli Kumaş Parametrelerinin Yuvarlak Örme Sandviç Kumaşların Ses Yutum Özelliklerine Etkisi

Atkı ve çözgü örmeciliği yanında dokuma veya dokusuz yüzey teknikleriyle de üretilebilen sandviç tekstiller, farklı malzemelerin kullanımına izin vermeleri, esnek bir ürün aralığına ve üç boyutlu yapıya sahip olmaları nedeniyle otomotiv tekstilleri, medikal tekstiller, jeotekstiller, spor giysileri, koruyucu tekstiller ve kompozitler gibi birçok alanda kullanım olanağı bulmaktadır. Ayrıca sandviç kumaşlar farklı gözenek yapılarında üretilebileceğinden ses absorpsiyonu gerektiren alanlarda da kullanım potansiyeli mevcuttur. Bu çalışmada, malzeme, kumaş kalınlığı ve yüzey yapısı gibi kumaş parametrelerinin yuvarlak örme makinelerinde üretilen sandviç kumaşların ses absorplama özelliklerine etkisi incelenmiş ve optimum kumaş yapılarının belirlenmesi hedeflenmiştir.

The Effect of Various Fabric Parameters on the Sound Absorption Properties of Circular Knitted Spacer Fabrics

Spacer fabrics which can be produced through weaving or nonwoven technique beside warp knitting and weft knitting processes, can be used for functional applications such as automotive textiles, medical textiles, geotextiles, sportswear, protective textiles and composites due to the possibility of using a variety of different materials, flexible product range and the three dimensional construction. Additionally they can also be used for sound absorption applications with different pore geometry. In this study, the effect of fabric parameters like material type, fabric thickness and surface structures on the sound absorption properties of circular knitted spacer fabrics was investigated and aimed to determine the optimum fabric parameters for better sound absorption.
