Bu araştırmamızda, Ege Bölgesi Aile ve Dini Rehberlik Bürolarına gelen sorular arasından ‘boşanma nedenleri’ konulu sorular ele alınmıştır. 2005-2011 yılları arasında bürolara gelen 2256 adet sorudan 146’sı boşanma nedenleriyle ilgilidir. Sorulardan hareketle Ege Bölgesindeki boşanmaların nedenleri tespit edilmiştir.Buna göre, boşanma nedenleri arasında en önemli faktör, erkeğin olumsuz karakteridir. Aldatma, şiddet, cinsel problem ve hastalıklar, ailedeki diğer fertlerden kaynaklanan problemler, eşler arası sevginin olmaması gibi konular ise diğer nedenler arasındadır. Çalışma boyunca incelenen 146 sorunun tamamına burada yer vermek mümkün olmayacaktır. Bu sebeple bürolara gelen soru ve cevaplardan, her başlığa ait birkaç örnek soru verilerek konunun değerlendirilmesi yapılacaktır. Örnek sorular kartekslerde yazıldığı gibi aynen aktarılacaktır.
