According to the agreement and prothocol concerning the exchange of Turkish and Greek people, mübadils were settled in Salihli as many other regions of Turkey on January 30, 1923 in Lausanne after successful end of National War. Most of them were from Fiorina and also others from Siroz, Kavala, Drama, Girit, Kandiye, Grebene, Langaza, and Serifce. It is known that as many other regions also in Salihli plans could not be promoted and mübadils tried to announce their complaints via petitions and telgraphs to the government and officials had tried to analyze their problems. It is seen in the documents the Salihli mübadils had mostly happened with settlement, transplantation and bağ, bağçe problems. Consequently, Salihli mübadils after immigrating from their homelands they lived in lesser lands and in damaged homes by Greeks and they had to try with many problems from material to psyschologic in the beginning period.
