INFORMATION LITERACY LEVELS OF GRADUATE STUDENTS STUDYING AT THE DEPARTMENT OF TURKISH EDUCATION

Purpose of this research is to determine graduate students’ ways of accsessing information and information litracy level. Scanning technique was used in the study. The universe of study consists of graduate students who study at the Department of Turkish Education in Kâzım Karabekir Education Faculty; the sample of study consists of 34 graduate students, studying at the same department. The data of the study were obtained with “Information Literacy Skills of Graduate Students.” Cronbach alfa coefficient of the research was determined 0,83. The data obtained from research were analiyzed with SPSS 18.0 and percent and frequency which are descriptive statistic techniques were used in the study. At the end of the study, it was understood that graduate students studying at the Department of Turkish Education have enough skill at the basic subjects related to information literacy
