MOBILE HEALTH APPLICATIONS IN COVID-19 PROCESS: CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS ANALYSIS FOR HES APPLICATION

In this study, it is aimed to reveal the essential critical success factors fort he successful use and execution of the “Hayat Eve Sığar (HES)” application developed by the Ministry of Health within the scope of combating the Covid-19 pandemic. In this context, focus group interviews were held with a total of 20 people. A researcher held a focus group meeting with 5 healthcare workers and 5 people who use the HES application in their daily life in Istanbul. Another researcher held a separate focus group meeting in Ardahan with 5 healthcare workers and 5 people who use the HES application in their daily life. Each focus group meeting took an average of 45 minutes. The data obtained as a result of the focus groups were analyzed. As a result of analysis, 7 critical success factors that may be required for the successful use and execution of the HES application were determined. These factors consist of location-based effective warning system, anti-infection mechanism, effective information system, new services and usage experience, speed, effective denouncement management system and code security.
