Vascular Access and Nursing Care in Elderly Patients Undergoing Hemodialysis Treatment

In the world, the prevalence of chronic kidney disease is quite high among the increasing elderly population. In elderly patients receiving hemodialysis treatment, vascular access problems are frequently experienced due to many diseases associated with end-stage renal disease. However, this issue is not clear enough. Therefore, there is a need to evaluate and summarize information about vascular access and nursing care in elderly individuals. This review aims to provide information to health professionals working in this field.
