Attitudes of professional accountants about the development of accounting profession

In this study, a survey was conducted in order to determine attitudes of professionalaccountants related to the development of the accountancy profession. The analysis of whether thereare significant differences between the means of the responses to variables collected in the factorsnamed quality, institutionalization, level of income, authorization of association and professional title,training level and professional experience is conducted with One-Way ANOVA test. Some significantdifferences are found in this analysis. Member of accounting professionals are aware of theimportance of service quality provided and support the quality-enhancing activities. Moreover, it isseen that they give importance to vocational retraining. As a result, even though the importance ofsome variables varies, there is a high level of acknowledge in to the variables collected in the factorsnamed quality, institutionalization, level of income, authorization of association.
