Analysis of the financial performances of the insurance companies that are traded at Ise for the fiscal period of 2006 to 2010
The insurance sector is one of the most important parts of the finance sector whichmakes contribution to development of capital accumulation in the economy and providesdirect support to the economic development by establishing long term funds. In this study, thefinancial performances were analyzed for seven insurance companies which are traded at ISEby using their financial statements. The financial statements of seven insurance companies forfour periods included in the period of 2006 to 2010 were addressed by the methods of ratioanalysis and analysis of comparative financial statements. The obtained basic financial sizesand indicators of the insurance companies were commented mutually in order to identify theirfinancial performances.
