Vaktiyle Osmanlı Türkçesiyle yazılmış mezar taşı kitabelerinde ebcet hesabı kullanılarak düşürülmüş tarihler konusunda yapmış olduğum araştırmalarda Lokman Hekim’in isminin geçtiği taşlara da rastlamıştım. Birçok kabristanda mevcut olan bu taşların hem fotoğrafını çektim hem de üzerindeki yazıyı okuyup arşivime almıştım. Onlarca olan bu taşları birkaç sempozyumda bildiri olarak sunmayı düşündüm. Bu arada yayımlanan bazı çalışmalara bakarak gerekli ilaveler ve düzeltmelerde de bulunmak istiyorum. Daha önceki sempozyumda içinde Lokman adının geçtiği ve bir kısmını sunduğum taşların ikinci grubunu da bu bildirimde ele almak istiyorum. Mezar taşlarında Lokman Hekim nasıl ele alınmış, niçin adı zikredilmiş ve hangi özelliğiyle nitelendirilmiş bunlar üzerinde de durulacaktır

In the studies I did on the dates with enumeration by abjad alphabet on the grave stones the epitaphs of which were written in Ottoman Turkish, I came across the gravestones on which the name of Physician Lokman was written. I took photos of those gravestones which took places in many graveyards, read epitaphs on them and put them in my archives. I thought that I would present as a paper on those epitaphs in symposiums. By reviewing some studies published before, I would like to add something and do some corrections. I will discuss the second group of gravestones in which the name of Physician Lokman was mentioned and some of which I presented earlier. Thus, I will focus on how Physician Lokman was mentioned on grave stones, why his name was addressed and what characteristics of him were attributed
