Useage of Intra-aortic Baloon Pump in the Open Heart Surgeries

Son yıllarda kardiyoloji ve kalp damar cerrahisindeki ilerlemeler sayesinde kalp hastalıklarına bağlı mortalite ve morbidite oranları azalmaktadır. Özellikle düşük kalp debisi sendromu' nun tedavisinde kullanılan IABP kısa sürede yaygın şekilde kullanım alanı bulmuştur ve halen dünyada ventrikül destek cihazları içerisinde en fazla kullanılan cihazdır

In recent years, by means of advances in cardiology and cardiovascular surgery, morbidity and mortality rates related to cardiac disease are declining. IABP which is used particularly in the treatment of low cardiac output syndrome has found area of application widely in a short time, and still is the most widely used device among the ventricular assist devices in the world
