Relationship between microalbuminuria and renal dysfunction in essential hypertension

Objective: Microalbuminuria has been reported tovary between 10-30 % in essential hypertension (EH)and to be associated with increased cardiovascular(CV) mortality and morbidity. A cohort of 250 patientswith essential hypertension were studied for theprevalence of microalbuminuria and its associationwith other target organ damage.
