Şerif Murtazâ, Kur’ân âyetlerinin birbiriyle ve akılla çelişmeyeceği anlayışından hareketle bazı müşkil ifadelerin yorum ve çözümüne yönelmiş; sahip olduğu geniş dil kültürü ve akıl sayesinde bunları izaha kavuşturmayı başarmıştır. Bunu yaparken müellif, bazen bir ibarenin hakikat veya mecaz ifade edebileceği ihtimalini göz önünde bulundurmuş; bazen âyetin metninde mahzûf bir ifadenin bulunduğunu muhtemel görmüştür. Bazen de müfessir, insanoğlunun sahip olduğu temel bir aklî ilkeden hareketle bir müşkile yaklaşmış; bazen de aynı konuyla ilgili Kur'ân’ın farklı yerlerinde geçen değişik iki ifadenin, konunun farklı yönlerine ve değişik aşamalarına ışık tuttuğu yorumunda bulunarak meseleye çözüm getirmiştir

Sharef Murtadha has headed towards interpretation and explanation of some Qur’ânic verses, which seems contradictory with each other or with reason, starting off not being in the Qur’ân like these contradictions. The author has sometimes considered that the Qur’ânic text might express a truth (haqeeqah) or metaphor (majaaz) meaning. He has also realised that might be the removed things in the text. The interpretor has sometimes taken up the unclear parts (mushkels) of the Qur’ân, starting off from a rational principle that have had the mankind. He has also considered that some different parts of the Qur’ân might be explained by the other parts of it, from different dimensions and positions.
