Perkutan Endoskopik Gastrostomi: Tek merkez Retrospektif Analiz

Memorial Diyarbakır Hastanesinde altı yıl süresince PEG uygulanan hastalar retrospektif olarak değerlendirldi. Altı yıllık dönem içeriside toplam 51 hastaya PEG açıldı.Hastaların 29’u erkek 22’si kadındı.yaş arlığı 14-82 arasında idi. PEG açılan hastalrın 44’ü yoğun bakım hastası idi. Hastaların 37’sinin nedeni nörölojik hastalık veya serebal iskemi idi. Diğer 11 hasta da onkolojik hastalığı olup beslenme bozukluğu olanlardı. 3 hatda baş-boyun tumour vardı obstrukdiyon ve radyoterapi öncesi işlem yapıldı. İki hastada minimal cilt kesisi yerinde hemoraji kayıt edilmişti. Üç hastada PEG yerinden sızıntı tarzında kesi yerinden mama sızıntısı oldu, ancak sadece bir hastada sürekli idi. Bir hastada buried bumper izlendi. Beş hastada da PEG yerinde cilt enfeksiyonu saptandı ve antibiyotik tedavisine yanıt vermişlerdi. Bir hasta, PEG setini çekmişti, ciddi komplikasyon gelişmemişti ve tekrar aynı yerden PEG yerleştirilmişti.  Hiç bir hastada mortalite izlenmedi.
