José de Espronceda’nın İki Şiirindeki İmgelerin Sembolik İmgelem Kuramına Göre İncelenmesi

Carl Gustav Jung in the field of Analytic Psychology and Gilbert Durand under the title of Imaginary’s Structures with their works have left a legacy of a catalogue of symbols and archetypes to their successors. In this study, our aim is by benefitting from this catalogue to analyse the semantic worlds of the poems “The Chant of the Pirate” and “The Chant of the Death” of José de Espronceda who is with his opuses, one of the pioneers in Spain of the Age of Romanticism to which he belongs. During this analysis, also it has been exemplified a number of semantic alterations of symbols in distinct civilizations or through the centuries. Besides, for each poem, it has been given one example about Jung’s archetypes.
