Three in One: Construction of an Hybrid Space and Observations on Starbucks

This study aims to analyze the values represented by Starbucks culture on a global scale, and also identify its corporate ideology. Framing Starbucks as a social and constitutive element of everyday life practices, the study analyzes the spatiality and spacial production of late capitalist society, with the aim of understanding and identifying the lifestyle offered to customers. Based on Edward Soja and Henri Lefebvre’s conceptualization of spaciality, I examine the Starbucks Coffee as a hybrid space of cafeworkplace, store and museum.
