İntihar Eğilimi Olan Hastaya Acil Müdahale

Dünyada ve Türkiye’de intihar sorunununulaştığı boyut değerlendirildiğinde, günümüzdeintiharın yalnızca psikiyatri uzmanlarınıilgilendiren bir sorun olmadığı ve bir halk sağlığısorunu haline geldiği görülmektedir. Bu nedenleintihara eğilimi olan kişilerin belirlenmesi ve bukişilerde intihar riskinin sistematik biçimdedeğerlendirilip gereken girişimlerin zaman kaybetmeden yapılması önem kazanmıştır. Buyazıda intihar riskinin sistematik biçimde nasıldeğerlendirilebileceği ve intihar riski yüksek olanhastaya acil müdahalede nasıl bir yol izleneceğiüzerinde durulacaktır

Emergency Intervention for Suicidal Patients

Nowadays, the extent of suicide problem in the world and in Turkey has reached a point that it can no longer be considered a problem of only mental health workers. Suicide has become a public health problem. Determination of suicidal individuals, making a systematic suicide risk assessment, and making necessary interventions in time for high risk individuals are very important. In this paper systematic suicide risk assessment, and emergency intervention for high risk indiviuals will be reviewed.
