Preterm ve Term Yenidoğanda Büyümenin Değerlendirilmesi

ÖzBüyümenin değerlendirilmesi yenidoğan dönemi gibi beyin gelişiminim kritik öneme sahip olduğu bir dönemde son derece önemlidir.  Bu dönemde büyümenin takibi  sadece somatik büyümeyi değil nörolojik ve gelişimsel düzeyin de değerlendirilmesini gerektirir.  Optimal büyümenin ileri yaşam sağlığı ve nörolojik gelişim üzerine olumlu etkileri bilinmektedir. Bu nedenle her kontrol anında bebeğin antropometrik ölçümlerinin yapılıp büyüme eğrilerinden yararlanılarak  değerlendirilmesi büyük önem taşımaktadır. Prematüre bebeklerde optimal büyümede hedef bebeğin intrauterin büyüme hızını yakalama olmalıdır.  Bu hedefe ulaşmak, uygun prenatal takip ve  postnatal parenteral ve enteral olarak yeterli protein, enerji, vitamin ve mineral desteğinin sağLanması ile mümkün olabilir.

Assesment of Growth Term and Preterm Neonates

AbstractThe evaluation of growth is important in the newborn period as brain development is so critical in this period. In the assesment of growth, neurological and developmental status should be evaluated in addition tosomatic growth during this period. Therefore, it is really important to evaluate the infant in growth charts according to the antropometric measurements. The optimal growth target for preterm infants should be the catch-up of intrauterine growth. In addition to appropriate antenatal follow-up, postnatal parenteral andenteral nutrition including sufficient protein, energy, vitamin and minerals should be supplied for this purpose,
