Ergenlerde Yaşam Doyumunun Yordayıcısı Olarak Duygu Düzenleme
düzeylerini ne kadar yordadığı incelenmiştir. Araştırma ilişkisel tarama modeline dayalı olarak yürütülmüştür. Çalışmanın araştırma grubunu 2021-2022 eğitim-öğretim yılında Ege Bölgesinde bir lisede öğrenim gören 129 (%51.1) erkek, 135 (%48.9) kız olmak üzere toplam 264 lise öğrencisi oluşturmuştur. Araştırma grubuna ilişkin yaş ortalaması 16.09 olarak belirlenmiştir. Veri toplama araçları olarak “Yaşam Doyumu Ölçeği”, “Duygu Düzenleme Ölçeği” ve “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada veriler çoklu doğrusal regresyon analiz (adımsal) yöntemi ile çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, ergenlerde yaşam doyumunu birinci sırada duygu düzenleme ölçeğinin “yeniden değerlendirme” alt boyutunun ve ikinci sırada ise duygu düzenleme ölçeğinin “bastırma” alt boyutunun anlamlı düzeyde yordadığı belirlenmiştir.
Emotion Regulation as a Predictor of Life Satisfaction in Adolescents
In this study, the predictive role of emotion regulation (reappraisal and suppression) variables on life satisfaction levels of adolescents was examined. The research was conducted based on the relational survey model. The research group of the study consisted of 264 high school students, 129 (%51.1) males and 135 (%48.9) females, studying in a high school in the Aegean Region in the 2021-2022 academic year. The mean age of the research group was determined as 16.09. “Life Satisfaction Scale”, “Emotion Regulation Questionnaire” and “Personal Information Form” were used as data collection tools. In the study, the data were analyzed with the multiple linear regression analysis (stepwise) method. As a result of the research; it was determined that the variables of “reappraisal” in the first rank and “suppression” in the second place significantly predicted emotion regulation.
