Şeyh Kerameddin, 16.yüzyılın sonları ile 17.yüzyılın ilk yarısında hayat sürmüş, önemli tarihi şahsiyetlerinden biridir. Giresun şehrinde ilim ve irşat hizmetleri verirken, hamisi Seyyid Mehmed Paşa'nın 1609 yılında idamı üzerine burayı terk ederek merkez Boztekke köyüne yerleşmiş ve burada vefat etmiştir. Bu makalede yöre tarihinde önemli bir yeri bulunan Şeyh Kerameddin, belgeler ışığında tanıtılmaya çalışılacaktır.

Şeyh Kerameddin is an important historical figure who lived between the end of the 16 th century and the first half of the 17th century. He taught Science and Theology in Giresun until the execution of Protector Seyyid Mehmed in 1609; afterwards he moved to central Boztekke village where he passed away. This article tries to introduce Şeyh Kerameddin, who has a significant place in the regional history, with regard to certain documents.
