Bu çalışmada, ortaöğretim 10.sınıf matematik ders kitabının bazı değişkenlere göre incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç ile ders kitaplarının hazırlanması için önceden belirlenen niteliklerden, içerik, öğrenme, öğretme ve ölçme-değerlendirme ölçütleri esas alınarak araştırmacı tarafından bir anket geliştirilmiştir. Geliştirilen bu anket formu 2010-2011 eğitim-öğretim yılının sonuna doğru Bitlis ili merkez ve bazı ilçelerinde görev yapan toplam 48 matematik öğretmenine verilerek öğretmenlerden bu anket maddelerine göre ortaöğretim 10. Sınıf matematik ders kitabını değerlendirmeleri istenmiştir. Elde edilen veriler, öğretmenlerin cinsiyet, okul türü ve kıdem değişkenleri açısından incelenmiş ve SPSS 11.0 istatistik programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre; Matematik ders kitabının öğretim programını kapsayacak biçimde hazırlandığı, her ünite veya bölümün sonunda öğrenciye verilmesi istenilen kazanımları ölçmeye yarayan değerlendirme sorularına yer verildiği, ancak öğrencileri araştırmaya, incelemeye ve bilimsel düşünme yöntemini kullanmaya, içeriğin doğal, sosyal, ekonomik ve kültürel bir bütünlük içerisinde öğrencinin günlük yaşantısında kullanabileceği bir şekilde olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Yine araştırmanın diğer bir sonucu ise, öğretmenlerin mesleki kıdemleri artıkça matematik ders kitabına verdikleri puanlarında artmış olması ve değerlendirme puanlarının cinsiyete göre anlamlı bir farklılık göstermemiş olmasıdır

It was aimed to evaluate the 10th grade Mathematic Lesson Book with respect to the some variables. With this aim, a questionnaire has been developed based on learn, teach and assessment-evaluation criterions which are predetermined characteristics by researcher. Towards to the end of 2010-2011 school years, the developed this questionnaire form has been given to the total of 48 mathematic teachers, work in the center and some districts of Bitlis city, and wanted to evaluate the 10thgrade Mathematic Lesson Book of Secondary School in respect of these questionnaire choices. Obtained data have been evaluated in the way of some variations such as sex, type of school and seniority and analyzed by using SPSS 11.0 statistic package program.According to the results of research: Mathematic lesson book is prepared to cover the teaching program and evaluating questions measure the gains which are wanted to give students are included at the end of every chapter or unit. However, it has been detected that this book does not urge on research, examine and use the method of scientific- thinking, and also its content of natural, social, economic and cultural integrity is not suitable to use in the students’ daily life. Another result of research is of given point to the book increases when the professional seniority has increased, and also evaluation points show a significant difference with respect to the sex
